Legal summary

Rental policies

This is a plain-language summary of Pop's Trailer Rental policies. The signed rental agreement PDF controls if anything conflicts.

Agreement PDF version: rental-agreement.pdf · rates as of 2026-07-11. Confirm when you book.

Deposit

A $200 deposit is required. It is returned when the trailer comes back without damage per the agreement.

Rental period

A rental day is 24 hours. You are charged for time out, not only time used. Late return may incur additional charges.

Identification & insurance

Valid driver's license (or acceptable ID per agreement) and current proof of vehicle insurance are required.

Tow vehicle

Use a suitable truck or van with a 2 5/16" ball and proper hitch class for this tandem-axle trailer. We may decline unsafe tow setups.

Care & cleaning

Normal wear and tear is expected. Damage from misuse and dirty returns may be charged.

Tires & road damage

Tire damage and road-hazard repairs during the rental are typically the renter's responsibility. Inspect tires at pickup.

Malfunctions

If something is wrong with the trailer, call us immediately. Continuing to use a malfunctioning trailer can create extra liability.

Out of state

Trailers may not leave Texas without prior written consent from Pop's Trailer Rental.

Accidents

Report accidents involving the trailer to us and to the police within 4 hours of occurrence or discovery (per agreement).

Damage or loss

You are responsible for damage, loss, or theft of the trailer during the rental, subject to the agreement terms.

Reservations

Reserve by call or text. Reservations may be held only briefly; a deposit may be required to hold a date.

Agreement controls

Always read and sign the full rental agreement. Summary bullets here do not replace that document.
